Caro Direttore,
nel 1956, certa intellighenzia nostrana salutava quasi con entusiasmo l'invasione sovietica in Ungheria. Si parlò - a proposito del popolo insorto - di un “
tentativo reazionario di distorcere il processo di democratizzazione”. Si, perché coi carri armati, dissero altri, il socialismo avrebbe garantito pace e democrazia. Tant'è che una volta ristabilito l' “ordine” per non rischiare nuovamente un insurrezione si iniziò a costruire città modello della “vera” democrazia; lunghe file di palazzoni grigi e uguali, dagli appartamenti claustrofobici che garantivano uguali diritti per tutti. Gli Ungheresi le chiamavano “kis moszkvá” - le piccole Mosca. Nel salotto di un appartamento di queste città, Szentkiralyszabadja, ho trovato un manifesto di 230 x 420 cm, che raffigura l'invasione di alcuni carri armati. Al posto della classica dicitura CCCP compare la scritta SZEKULARIZMUS. Un accostamento molto ardito, si direbbe. Ma sempre di invasione si tratta: oggi non dei carri dell'Armata Rossa, ma dei tank del pensiero unico nichilista. Oggi, di fronte ai pericoli che minacciano il vecchio continente, auspichiamo come unica prospettiva una ultra-laicità che altro non sa fare che eliminare le proprie identità, culturali e religiose, credendo che un appiattimento della persona, delle proprie idee, in nome del “diritto di”, sia sinonimo di uguaglianza, fraternità, libertà. E' solo un annientamento dell'io, che non è più capace di dire chi è ne di proporre nulla; incapace cioè di costruire. E come nel 1956, magari scendiamo nelle piazze ad applaudirlo ed invocarlo.

1956, our certain intellighenzia, welcomed almost with entusiasm the sovietic
invasion of Hungary. About the riot people, the newspaper talked
about a “reazionar attempt to distorce the process of
democratization”. Of course, because with the tank, other said,
socialism would have provide peace and democracy. In fact once “order”
was restablished , in order not to risk again a new riot, they start
to built city models of the “true” democracy; long lines of huge
gray and identical buildings, with claustrofobic apartments that
provided equal rights for everyone. Hungarians called them “kis
moszkvà”, the small Moscows. In the living room of apartment
of one of these cities, Szentkiralyszabadja,
i have found a wallpaper of 230
x 420 cm , that represents the invasion of some tanks. In the
place of the classsic “CCCP” appears the writing SZEKULARIZMUS.
A strong switch, someone can say. But it's still an invasion: today
the invasion is not made by Red Army, but by the nichilst thought.
Today in front of the dangers that threat the “Old Continent”, we
hope as only perspective a super-laicity (secularism) that is not
able to do anything else that eliminated cultural and religion
identities, with the convincion that livelling the person, the ideas,
in the name of “right to”, is synonim of “equality,
fraternity and freedom.” It is only the end of the self, wich
is no more able to say who he is or to suggest anything; wich means
no more able to buid. And like in 1956, maybe we go out in the
squares to support it and to ask for it.
